Roger White

Project Manager – East Africa


Roger first joined Rotary in Tortola, British Virgin Islands in 1979 and since then has unbroken Rotary membership spanning four clubs in four countries. Two of the clubs he has joined twice and he has been a club officer in all four. He is a member, and Past President, of the RC St. Thomas, Past Chair of the District 7020 Haiti District project, past District 7020 Haiti Liaison Officer and past member of the District 7020 Haiti Task Force. Currently he is the District 7020 Grant Advisory Chair and Co-Chair of the District 7020 Foundation Audit and Stewardship Committee. Outside of District 7020, Roger is a member of the Technical Cadre of Reviewers of the Rotary Foundation and a Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI) Discussion Leader. Apart from his involvement in the RLI, he has conducted training seminars at club, district and zone level. He is a strong supporter of the Rotary Foundation having seen the impact of Rotary on the lives of others over the years. This has led him and his wife, PDG Diana, over time, to become major donors to the Rotary Foundation as well as members of the Bequest Society. Roger has been actively involved in the drafting and execution of several Rotary sponsored projects in Haiti and Uganda as well as in the Virgin Islands. As a Manager of the Rotary Jaipur Limb Project he is currently exploring the possibility of establishing a RJLP clinic in Jamaica.
